    On Saturday, November 12, 2022 Association of Independent MD-DC Schools (AIMS) Student Diversity Leadership Conference (SDLC) will return to an in-person format for the first time in three years. AIMS SDLC is a high school diversity and equity leadership training event that is planned and led by area high school students. SDLC elevates and empowers 9th-12th grade students from AIMS schools and beyond, especially those whose identities do not always experience belonging in our schools. The student and adult planners are very excited and we appreciate Sandy Spring Friends School (SSFS) in Olney, MD for hosting us this year. The ongoing support and partnership from AIMS has allowed this amazing student-led event to thrive for over thirty years! This year, we hope to have participation of nearly 400 people (registration will close at the maximum numbers below): Students and Adult around 400 people.
